I made this a while ago, kinda got the ideas from a lot of the logons that are around here, and by that glass player everyone been using on their desktop thread.

Anyway i couldn't think of a good name for it, so there it is Glass Stuff

If one of logon guro get your hands on it, and start digging at it, Theres a bitmap (32bit) that is not being used its resource 129, Its used for the password, and has a small drop shadow to match the button. It keeped getting me errors when i try to use it, so i switched back to 24bit for the background (102). Its hardly notisable unless you look really close to it. So if one of guys can make it use the 32bit one, let me know ;)

Bloody hell, my Edit privledges timed out while I was typing up my revisions...

Edit: God damn, this thing's like a freaking bomb when you're trying to edit it... The UIFILE seems to randomly corrupt itself... Anyway, regarding that transparency issue, I don't think you can use PNGs in rcbmp. Solution I found was to use the following image as BMP102.

Edit 2: I can't get the Turn Off Computer text to show up when I lock the machine. Is it supposed to, or does it only show when you log off completely?

102.bmp

regarding edit 1:

yeah i know that would be the easiest solution, but then you would have to change it everytime you decide to change the background, so it matches.

regarding edit 2:

It shows up when i lock the machine (win key+L) thats how i took the screenshot. Not sure why its not showing up for you.

    • Yes for me, I installed 'old calculator' (Windows 7 calculator) in its place since it is more useful to me. I think paint is the only one I left installed
