A nice new month to show off your eye candy, let the desktops begin! :D

Here's a PM I sent to Radish, and got no response, so I'll post what I said here, and maybe you guys can follow along without it being a new rule:

I noticed that you normally start the desktop threads (with the exception of November). Could you maybe add a new rule that says you must post any relevant information about the screenshot? It doesn't have to be strictly enforced, but this would cut down on the hundred or so "where can I get this wall" "what's XX called" and "what program did you use" posts ..

It also saves people time when they are looking for that information, because they dont have to PM the person asking, who might not reply for a week or so, or create a new thread in the customization forum asking.. It's especially annoying when the person says "PM me for details." Many people don't check the thread for people asking them questions either. I really saw the need for this rule as this is the first time I've actually tried some customization further than changing the wallpaper (not that I'm new, just that theres so much to do ) and it was rather frustrating trying to find out what a certain weather script for Samurize was called or what a wallpaper was called.

Please give it some consideration.

Hmmm, contradiction.

I don't mind one of you guys making the thread, just let staff that are online know about it :)

The first post has been edited already by me.

Have fun! ;)

Radish?

well.. i also kept in mind that some people might explode in the thread if someone didnt post all relevent informatio;);)

btw nice desktops so far guys..Edit 1:b> illjerry, what weather script is that.. it probably uses desktopweatherxml as a base, but i cant find the actual skin/whatever

RoP can I get that wall?

Well, two things.

1. I don't know who made the little guy in the middle... so I cannot ask permission, I cannot share (as I stated in my post)

2. The wall is pretty much the same design (stripes) except for the middle... so you can cut it out :p

Glad you like it :)

    • Sound Booster 1.13 Build 575 by Razvan Serea Increase volume on your laptop. Boost the volume of even very quiet speakers. Raise volume above maximum. Letasoft Sound Booster can be used as an extra amplifier when the volume of the program you are listening to is too low for comfortable listening and you feel that your PC’s speakers can produce a louder sound. This can be the case when the audio or video has been recorded at the level below normal. Or, for example, when the other person’s microphone you are talking to on Skype, is not working properly. There can be a plenty of other reasons why the sound is being too quiet and there is not much you can do about it except buy external speakers. Sound of any application that is being played in the system can be amplified up to 500%. Letasoft Sound Booster can raise volume of programs like web browsers, on-line communication software (Teams, Discord, Zoom), any kind of media player or games. Simply put, volume of virtually any program that can play any sound in PC, can be boosted to a comfortable level with Letasoft Sound Booster. You can control current volume with the pop-up slider from the system tray. Alternatively, you can assign system-wide hot keys for increasing and decreasing, and use them when you need to adjust volume Letasoft Sound Booster constantly monitors current gain level and prevents samples from clipping, thus reducing all major sound distortions. • I own these and the normal QuietComfort ones from Bose. The QC are amazing and I want to love these, but for the life of me, I have a terrible time getting them attached to my ears.
    • Thanks for the tip. I am giving it a try. Initial quick impression: I like it.
