to install new audigy drivers.

It's not only for the compaq, and I have experenced a boost in my sblive, I no longer have to set up my audio to be on 3d mode to play on all 4 speakers, and some mp3's that for some reason sounded muffled no longer sound muffled. So it's great. Big dload but good.

PREREQUISITES:

1. Hardware Part Numbers=277619-101(Audigy) or 232756-001 (Sound Blaster 5.1)

mine isnt 5.1

You have to manually install the drivres and software to get to work if you don't have the oem version of the cards. it works with no problems. also no dvldr errors.

rad - yup just go into the audio/setup folder and launch the Setup.exe and you are set :)

These drivers caused my PC to bomb out at certain times :(

Like using netmeeting when the audio configuration tool appeared. :(

i have a sblive 5.1 and these wont install when i run setup.exe

Sorry the drivers don't let use the remote. Basicillay you have to manualy install the programs. I have found that the remote,playcenter,minidisc,and recorder work fine and all the rest hammer your computer F'n Creative labs. I had to Format and install XP 3X to get it right Why? I'm an Idiot (Stimpy):o :mad:
