Yeh it works well, i tested it extensively to make sure that i didnt release anything on neowin that would not work.

All it is, is a batch file that extracts the files and then uses the program replacer through a script that i wrote to replace the files.

one major advantage of using replacer is that if the changes affect the system and make it not able to be started you can change everything back to normal by just running a simple command in recovery console

I dont know why but i tried the installer and it didant chage anything,Could u post a complete guide on how to install using the installer,Do i need to have replacer installed before i use this? :huh:

Do you prefer the original in 16 colors mode? This cannot be improved. It is a limitation of regedit (wordpad toolbar is another example).

I think when replcaer replaces them it the file name with the extension .backup. So look in your windows folder, and system32 folder

If you can't wait, try again. Anyway, in a couple of days the offical XPize 2.5 installer will be available. It is in Beta phase right now. Stay tune.

XPero, you should contact microsoft with this, it is NICE, maybe they could use it, so everybody would get it :)

I'm interrested in porting it to the danish version of winxp, but I'm not 100% sure of what to do with the files?

If they want it, they know how to contact me I pressume. :p About porting it to Danish...you can wait for the official installer if you want...or is that you want a XP CD XPized? If so, you can download the Translating XPize Doc in the first post and follow the instructions...also download Restorator 2004. If you come into problems contact me via PM...I will be glad to help you. Just an advice...do not replace BMPs in you Explorer.exe. They show screenshots of the taskbar, so in every language it is different. Also thanks for your comments
