Thanks hadiz, blueshirt, and cmove for the feedback. :)

If anyone would like to get started making your own cursors for cursorXP, you will have to learn how to make a .png (Portable Network Graphics) borderless film strip animation.

It is easy and fun.

Here is an article that can help get you started.

RVM to make them smaller.

Right click cursorXP in the task bar tray.

Select configure.

When the cursorXP window opens select options.

One of the options is size.

I can't remember if that option only comes with the plus version (read purchase version).

The plus version does come with more features and I think they are worth it.

:)

Like tool tip effects sound effects and more.

If you view the page I linked to at the beginning of this thread there is a link to go to the cursorXP website.

There you can find out about all the features.

Thanks for asking.

Bye the way hi hadiz and allfive6. ;)

why aren't there minimalistic OSX-like icons for CursorXP? all the ones i've seen are crooked, bulging, eye-popping, huge (yes, i know you can reduce them), and freaking over-animated, if there's such a thing..

these look alright. i wouldn't use them for the things i mentioned above, but i appreciate hard work when i see it.. (Y)

i'll still stick with my small OSX-inspired, unobtrusive, delicate cursor set for XP.. some of them are from Binary and the others i found on dART a few years ago, and haven't stop using them since.. still can't remember who made them.. here's a SS..

Thanks for the comment memNOC.

I think some people like some animation.

Just one thought about large cursors.

If you have small children that use the computer large cursors can be a help for them.

I know because my brother has children.

I am also know as uncle Iben.
