[Definitive] Sony PSP Thread

i'll try it now

it looks like it's in the background but it's not, it actually holds the picture's position, and takes you to the menu if you want to check something.

It's not exactly setting it as a background.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment said it will release "XXX," "Hellboy," "Resident Evil 2" and "One Upon A Time in Mexico" on April 19 in the Universal Media Disc or UMD format, with additional monthly releases in the future. The unit did not set a price for the movie discs.

Now all we need is prices!!!!

I still think if they arent at least half the price of normal DVD's then not many will buy them! Since most people would prob prefer to buy the normal DVD and rip them to Mem stick, and still have a normal DVD to play on home players.

Anyone know if UMD is going to be used with anything else or will it be PSP exclusive?

Pre-ordered mine at EB on December 16, literally the same day they started taking pre-orders. It was hilarious, the clerk had to call another store to get the pre-order code because he hadn't gotten the new catalog yet.

As for US-friendly games, Lumines is a great music/puzzle game. Other import-friendly titles you may be interested in are Darkstalkers, Ridge Racers, and Minna no Golf (Everybody's Golf, or Hot Shots Golf in the U.S.).

^I dunno, but you would think Sony would bundle a USB cable with the 'value pack' we will be getting...

No, they don':(:(

Doesn't bother me, i am using my mini usb cable i got with my SPV C500 to connect up my PSP, works nicel:):)

I caved and ordered one. I got the one with the Value Pack so even though it'll be a pathetic 32MB stick, it'll be something. I have some Memory Sticks for my F-707 camera, will they work? I think I have a 256 MB one.

If you have a regular Memory Stick, it won't work.

Memory Stick Duo is much smaller one. (slightly smaller than SD card)

On the other hand, Memory Stik Duo will work with your camera with an adapter.

Oh, ok. I thought it was the other way around. Thanks.

Memory Stick Duo slot is half the size of Memory Stick, how would it fit in? :p

I had to buy Memory Stick Duo and abandon my old Memory Stick because my current camera only supports Duo.

I didn't know the Duo WAS half the size :p. I think the last time I looked at the US specs it was going to use regular memory sticks. Either way, I'll have something to play with until I get a nice 1GB stick.

No way they're gonna sell for that much. They'll end up costing the same as regular DVD's.

The only one I might buy is the Final Fantasy VII Advent Children if it is not released on DVD at the same time. I guess I will also get the free Spider Man 2. Other than those, buying movies on UMD does not appeal to me at that price, might as well get the DVD.

It also adds new cleaners (including a DNS cache cleaner, Claude Code, and Visual Studio Code forks), support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles, new deep scan options for developer directories like node_modules and venv, and safer, faster file shredding. All Platforms Added cleaners for Claude Code, DNS cache, and many Visual Studio Code forks. Added support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles. Chrome can now clean downloaded AI models. Deep Scan can optionally remove venv, __pycache__, node_modules, and .angular directories. Deep Scan is faster by skipping directories on the keep list. File shredding is safer, faster, and leaves fewer recoverable traces. Improved handling of cookies, symlinks, Unicode filenames, external processes, and configuration files. Improved Expert Mode warnings and long warning dialogs. Fixed crashes related to cleaner detection, invalid Unicode, and malformed cleaner data. Clipboard is now cleared automatically after shredding files via paste operations. Linux Added AppImage support. Fixed startup crashes when Python Requests is unavailable. Windows Fixed a security vulnerability that could allow arbitrary file deletion when cleaning with elevated privileges. Added %WindowsSystem% variable support. Improved clipboard clearing using native Windows APIs. Improved installer experience on unsupported Windows versions. Reduced installer size and improved application robustness. Fixed Unicode handling, filename anonymization, Git revision reporting, and splash screen stability. • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
