get an extended warranty and return it in 8 months!:

perhaps then, the lcds will be fixed.

Does anyone know what the terms and conditions of the EB Games extended warranty is? Also, is the receipt that says I bought the warranty enough to make a claim, or was there some other paper that they also gave me that I lost (I can't remember)? The only thing the guy at the counter told me was they won't accept it if the screen is cracked.

EB has a pretty good warranty policy, you can pretty much return it in any condition and they'll exchange it for a new one.

The PRP will let you replace it for about anything, but the PRP becomes invalid after they replace it. I was reading over my PRP and although I don't remember the exact text is was something like ...EB has completed its end of the PRP when the repairs made to the product are equal to the purchase price of the product or an equal or greater priced replacement has been issued...

the guy at my eb said a cracked/scratched/pixels/anything screen is fine, as long as the unit is in one piece.

Got a PSP today on a whim. I know its been said countless times but yeah this thing is a fingerprint/dust magnet. I'm a bit mad about not having a usb cable or memory stick duo card reader (just standard memory stick) so I can't really do a lot of the things I really wanted to try out till I can go down to radio shack or someplace. They really should have included one in the "value" pack.

Definite fingerprint magnet, but that cleaning cloth works wonders.

This has probally been covered before but do the SanDisk Memory Stick Pro Duo cards work with the PSP? I know they have special colored ones for "Gaming" but do the normal blue ones work with the PSP? No one has the Gaming ones in stock and SanDisk offers a 2GB normal card

who has the 2gb pro duo in stock?

When using the PRP, do you need to have EVERYTHING the value pack came with or can you just bring in the PSP alone and get a brand new one?

I didn't find anything in my PRP about that, so who knows. I'm going to try and exchange mine before thursday (14 days) and not use the PRP (hopefully I can keep spiderman 2, took off the little sticker on the box so maybe they won't notice).

Sony should really add a few specific features to the next firmware, mainly the ability to change backgrounds to whatever you'd like, and the ability to just pop in a UMD and browse only the music on that game, cause there are a few good tracks in Lumines that would be even better if you didn't have to play the game just to hear them.

I have it, but I've been wondering... how many tracks are there really in Lumines?  The credits only show the 4 "proper" tracks as I've heard them, but there are obviously more.

Yeah, they only seem to put the names in for the Mondo Grosso tracks, but the one I like is the track that goes with the "Roundabout" skin.

This maintenance-focused release includes bug fixes, updated translations, and a range of safe enhancements. This release fixes a Windows security issue that could allow arbitrary file deletion during privileged cleaning (reported by Zeze with TeamT5). It also adds new cleaners (including a DNS cache cleaner, Claude Code, and Visual Studio Code forks), support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles, new deep scan options for developer directories like node_modules and venv, and safer, faster file shredding. All Platforms Added cleaners for Claude Code, DNS cache, and many Visual Studio Code forks. Added support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles. Chrome can now clean downloaded AI models. Deep Scan can optionally remove venv, __pycache__, node_modules, and .angular directories. Deep Scan is faster by skipping directories on the keep list. File shredding is safer, faster, and leaves fewer recoverable traces. Improved handling of cookies, symlinks, Unicode filenames, external processes, and configuration files. Improved Expert Mode warnings and long warning dialogs. Fixed crashes related to cleaner detection, invalid Unicode, and malformed cleaner data. Clipboard is now cleared automatically after shredding files via paste operations. Linux Added AppImage support. Added cleaners for Visual Studio Code, Codeium, Librewolf (.deb), Transmission (Flatpak), and Profanity. Improved Linux trash detection, including Snap-installed applications and mounted drives. Fixed Wayland root CLI issues and several Snap-related problems. Improved package dependencies, AppStream metadata, and desktop file handling. Fixed startup crashes when Python Requests is unavailable. Windows Fixed a security vulnerability that could allow arbitrary file deletion when cleaning with elevated privileges. Added %WindowsSystem% variable support. Improved clipboard clearing using native Windows APIs. Improved installer experience on unsupported Windows versions. Reduced installer size and improved application robustness. Fixed Unicode handling, filename anonymization, Git revision reporting, and splash screen stability. • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
