FC3 Selection Transparency

Is there any way to change the colour of the transparent selection boxes? It's a default blue at the moment, but I want to change it around.

I'm talking about the box that shows up when you drag the mouse around a folder or the desktop.

It would be helpful to say if you are using the default FC3 Gnome desktop, or if you are using KDE.

If you're using gnome and Nautilus as your file manager, this can be changed in your theme's gtkrc. Not sure about KDE though.

Who's got the Windows mentality? I agree that yes, I know Windows more... but I thought that since I'd posted a bunch of other threads about FC3 and Gnome, then people would figure it out.. but sorry.

Thats why Windows is in the state its in. No healthy competition because it stomped them all into the ground or bought them out and hung them, so you stagnate and eventually die. KDE keeps Gnome evolving and bettering itself as does Gnome to KDE. Both are essential to the benefit of the user...

THATS Windows mentality, to overlook the BIGGER picture because all you care about is what YOU want. I myself use KDE, but I would never put Gnome down because it has many good points, its just not what I feel like using. Just because I dont use it, doesnt make any worse then KDE or any less significant in the grand scheme of things. You have probably never even installed KDE or used for more then 20 minutes. Your comments are based off ignorants and they irritate me because I respect ever single tiny application in Linux because they guys work in their spare time and dont get paid a cent to help YOU out...and they get this type of snotty, arrogant attitude in reverse.

You are a wonderful human being and a treasure to the Linux society...

I never said you were, but before you go spouting nonsense like "KDE could die for all I care" and offending the people that do use it, let alone the people that spend their free time programming for it, you should rethink your statements. You potentially anger people with derogatory statements like that. Just because we are on the internet, does not mean you arent accountable for your words...

You also potentially irritate people that do know how you solve your problems...you catch more flies with sugar then you do with vinegar...might want to remember that.
