6XGate one of the contributors for the Longhorn Alternative GUI Kit, made some jaw-dropping bootscreens to add to the Longhorn Alternative GUI Kit which you probably have already...

Note... To use these skins you will need to download Stardock Bootskin which is available for free from, where else, Stardock. Or if you wanna try using something else... go ahead...

the Bootskin software requires a .bootskin file

Yea i got confused as well,

found out though

you need to copy the actual folders into the ./skins directory of where you installed bootskin :)

As bootscreen bitmaps I think they HAVE to be 640x480

I'd really like to see ntoskrnl.exe versions of these.. or a tutorial on editing them into the executable ;D
