AVG does not work on server 2003

i tried installing it on my server 2003 and it came up with a message saying that it cannot be installed and detected it was a commercial file server or something

The reason is that the AVG license specifically tells you that you cannot install on any kind of server. Read the EULA next time, please.

How did you managed to get it installed?

 hehhe ;] :D I been on windows 2000 pro and xp for the past months, but when i did use win2k3 as a desktop it worked fine. I just decided to hit back up win2k3 as a desktop lastnight.... so i re-installed and it works fine. Thats the free version i had on my computer for some time now (months), so im not sure if the newest free version doesnt work, but this one works fine.,

Computer Associates eTrust

Give this a try. Direct from MS. Is part of XP Partner Pack. MS are giving 1 years free updates and support on this, if you download and register it all.

This works perfectly on W2k3 systems
