Mathiasdm
Okay, I still don't have my new computer, so I'm gonna remove Vectorlinux and install Slackware on the old one. The problem is: I don't know how to burn a .iso in Windows (our windows computer... sigh). I tried installing cdrecord (program to creat .iso files from regular files in windows), but something went wrong during install  Any other ideas? I can't create the .iso in linux, so no need to suggest that ;-) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/257627-getting-slackware/ Share on other sites
kjordan2001
Nero has the option to burn an image under the recoder menu or something I believe, so should most cd recording programs. Brian Veteran Posted December 15, 2004 Veteran Share Posted December 15, 2004 On Nero go to : Backup then go to Burn Image. That will do it. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/257627-getting-slackware/#findComment-585105653 Share on other sites
Mathiasdm
That's not what I meant ;-) I know how to burn a .iso, but not the slackware one. The thing is, for slackware, you have to choose the packages, then put them together and turn it into a .iso, then burn it. I don't know how to put the packages together ;-) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/257627-getting-slackware/#findComment-585106392 Share on other sites

Try copying an existing style and messing with that as a start point.
