Apple Keyboard driver for Suse

Recommended Posts

I just plugged my Mac keyboard into my Debian comp, hotplug was kind to it and it seems to be working.

I don't really think you need anything, as all USB keyboards/mice fall into some sort of standard.

I purchased a MAC keyboard (Apple have just cut the price to ?19) and it works a treat!! It recognised it as an Apple Keyboard. Thanks guys.

The only thing is the @ and " are on the wrong keys even though the keyboard is setup for the UK. Is there a way to manually configure this?

Are you saying that the physical keys are marked incorrectly? Or just that the keyboard follows the UK layout, but SuSE is following the US layout?

Also, does your keyboard have a long enter button or a short enter button? You know a big proper one, or is it half the normal height?

It's just I'm interested in buying one of those and the size of the enter/return key is important :p .
