512mb MP3 players

it's always the big boys who get attention, but does anyone have experience with multiple brands of 512mb MP3 players? there is a lot more to chose from, trying to keep it around $100 since it's a gift. since i have a 20gb iriver, i don't know jack about the smaller players...help!

I'd get the Sandisk player from Newegg, it's just a little over $100 for the 512 version. Nice little player. My brother is going to be recieving the 256 this year. I know he will like it.

i have the 512mb iriver. i use it for running after i got my ipod, but it rules!

Going to be the best option for that price range.

Yeah, the iRiver is obviously going to be superior, but you are going to pay a ton more. Personally I love iRiver, but I don't have the money for it :-P
