how do i set up Win XP Pro as a web server

learn how to spell... now!

with that out of the way..

go to www.whatismyip.com and see your external IP. For a Domain (thats what I'm assuming what you mean by.. instead of URL) go get a dynamic domain... something like << spam >>

lieb39

assuming your computer is connected to the internet, and is running a webserver (e.g. apache) then whatever content your server dishes out is on the internet.

to access it, open your ip address in your webbrowser of choice, and hit enter.

the alternative is to get a dynamicly changing hostname... if you have a dynamic IP... such as dyndns.org or << spam >>
