looks nice.

but the startpanel and taskbar looks sooo much like the ones from kol.

make it unicolored and remove those borders around the taskbar entries.

i Wont be changing either of those items.. other than the rounded buttons which i think are fair game to use this VS is 100 original and different from Kol's. Built from Luna using no one elses images.

Thx Kol , that means a lot to me... your new VS really motivated me to make this, yes the start button is similar and the red buttons but as i stated before this is built ground up from Luna. there will be some similarities, but being the great artist you are i feel flattered more than anything with any comparisons to UR work.

ill probably release a glassed and non-glassed toolbar set, i think both look good tho.

Also, if anyone is interested in skinning any other apps, particularly Winamp and Trillian please contact me.

I believe he charges for some of his work...nothing wrong with that of course, just a matter of choice.

BTW Winswy: I didn't really like much of your previous themes, for the same reasons as many others, you know "not minimalistic enough" "looks like a WB theme" etc., I have to say it's really improving... Still too much candy for me but you're getting there.

kinda tired of folks whining about too much bevel.. too 'in yer face".. etc..

Dont mean to be an ass but maybe try listening to what folk are saying to you / at least consider it, as its not whining its suggestions / constructive criticism.

Have to say tho out of your styles so far this is the best, but watch as its resembling, is it "Sustenance" ? Cant remember soz :p

Looking very impressive m8! Your shellstyles are quite nice man, and I have to say that my only regret after having looked at the screen shots of this are that I have no PC at home to try it out on. Keep up the good work bro...progressing quite nicely as usual!

    • Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
