I'm wondering if you can tell me where to get the icons in your dock. I really like them all :)

Most of them I have found on macthemes2.net or from Jonas Rask. The folders are from the Aquave Project. The finder icon is from a application called Process.

Hmm, could it be the font size on your menu bar? I've downloaded your screenshot and full-screened it through Quick Look. Moving my mouse to the top of the screen overlays my menu bar over the picture, and your menu bar is clearly smaller than mine. Something I've noticed is that the text in your menu bar is smaller?

Is this just an error of the picture?

Odd, I don't know. This is a fresh install of Leopard (Thanks to the POS software called Parallels). The only thing I really changed was the color settings in which I use the TV gamma instead of the default settings which appear washed out to me.

bump??
Sorry I suck at returning PMs - I uploaded it here for you. I think that is the one you requested.

Let me know if it isn't and I will find it for you

My menu bar is the same size - nothing changed about it that I know of.

My dock is a little larger than what Apple sets it to (standard) size. As far as decrease in the work area it isn't that much of a difference on m 17" MBP. Plus the icons are sexy and I hate not being able to see the details of them on the smaller dock.

The dock is actually called PDock (you can find it on deviantart) I then took the separators from my Niqu Maxified Dock and put them with it.

Hope that helps :D

and quite a nice job you did, farewell, nice job indeed. :)

And I have a question. how are people getting transparent backgrounds for Adium chat windows??

adium - settings - look and feel or something, its the icon with the feathers.

you can adjust the transparency there. =)

sorry, im on a german version so i dont know the english names for the options.

however, thats how it works. =)

Where can I get that dock and can you send me those icons bro?

Aquave Project

Agua System from Iconfactory.com

And while I am bored...for your viewing pleasure (Wow I just realized Quillz hasn't posted a screenshot in a few days)....

:o New dock? Link?

And regarding that trash icon, maybe it's just me, but the two vertical white lines.. one of them is always black and one is always white. They alternate as I change the size of the dock and it takes a specific dock size to make them both white at the same time. Does that happen to you too?

Is that Adium or iChat? If it's Adium, is that dock icon iBubble 3? Yours seems to be shaded nicer and looks better than what I'm using

And regarding Quillz, he has officially switched to Windows Vista :(

Not quite... I did on my MacBook, but I was having more difficulty on my iMac due to my three external all being formatted as HFS Plus. So I actually deleted the partition on my iMac and am running OS X exclusively. But Vista gives me better battery life on my MacBook.

    • Hello, Christian Maas' XVI32 is a nice (and very small) hex editor. Speaking of hex editors, many years ago a colleague and I who both worked at Tribal Voice managed to edit a copy of the company's PowWow instant messaging client to make it behave better now that all of its lookup servers and other server-side tech was gone.  The program didn't support NAT (RFC-3022 was introduced in January 2001, the same time Tribal Voice was shuttered), but it still worked okay if you manually set up port-forwarding on your router.  The server at http://powwow.jazy.net/ hosts a copy (usual warnings about downloading and running untrusted code from random internet servers apply). I occasionally use some tools like Funduc Software's Search and Replace and Application Mover when I need to make mass-edits to text-based files or move programs with a hard-coded installation directories, respectively.  When I need to figure out the exact LCD panel inside of a laptop, EnTech Taiwan's Monitor Asset Manager is my go-to tool for that purpose. JD Design's website (now hosted on github.io) has a number of interesting freeware and shareware utilities.  I used to use their TouchPro utility to set the file timestamps on software I was mastering to match its version number (e.g., version 3.00 of a program had all of its files dates set to 3:00AM, and so forth). Karenware has a number of interesting freeware utilities, too. Regards, Aryeh Goretsky
    • I still use HexChat! Not really as ancient as the 1994 AutoCAD above my post, but I have never found anything better to replace it. Yes we still operate an IRC server https://www.neowin.net/irc/ 😛
    • At work we still have a couple of people that use a version of AutoCAD LT purchased in 1994. This predates Windows 95 and works fine on versions of Windows up to XP. Its long since run in an locked down isolated XP VM, accessible via RDP. I did install LibreCAD for them, however they said it was just too different to get to grips with. In all fairness one of them is now 75 and the other is almost 60.
    • On my music making (non internet) PC Sony Acid Pro 7.0 Adobe Audition 2015 Korg Legacy Collection Windows 7 SP1
    • Anyway to download these versions without being on the Experimental builds?
