We allow ONE registered account ONLY.

Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.

How do you do those scrolling RSS feeds .. ?

How much memory does all that Samurize take up?

Very...  unique desktop  :D

Hi m8 !

www.worldflash.com for the scrolling news feeds in place of the taskbar at the bottom.

For the ones on the right, I use Desktop Sidebar www.desktopsidebar.com

Unfortunately the ones in Samurize don't scroll but can change every few seconds to display a feed from another site, but I guess you already knew that.

The weather is toggled on and off only 2-3 times a day.

Only one RSS news display is on at any time, so I use less than 10 Mb or RAM and less than 2-3 % CPU usage for all my gizmos and displays. Hard to believe but true :)

Ciao !!

    • Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
