Custom color masks (since forcing it would cause the red close button to change color, among other things)

Okay, that might be a bit much to ask given everything in the skin :p

To be honest the skin is already amazing. I can't think of much of anything extra to do that goes beyond the normal WB enhancements like the dialog skinning and toolbars.

Personally I prefered the inset on the titlebar stretching to both sides, not around the text.

Yes, me too. it looks so much better with the inset being full, no matter how much text there is.

Also, on the msstyle, using the Arial version (best looking), some command button text gets cut off in .net apps. Does this happen in WB?

I think Im going to keep the full inset, I prefer it too hehe.

I dont know about the font I cant test it :argh: hehe

well, if you want, and I'm sure you get this a lot, I'd be willing to quickly test it out. The app I'm developing runs into this problem on the replace toolbar, so it will be easy to find. I could always delete the theme once checking. Just a thought to try to help you out.

I have problems with all the programs that I create with Visual Basic if I create a manifest to use Visual Style in the programs. I really dont know why that happens

Kol,

Big fan of this theme. I'm using it in Windowblinds (via import through SkinStudio).

Even though it's near perfect now, can we expect any WindowBlinds-exclusive pieces?

Also, I'm assuming you have Icandy Jr.'s expansion icons in your pics (and shellstyle). In case you know (or if FOOOD's reading this), do you have any idea how close FOOOD is to releasing his Icandy Jr expansion?

sweetness. never used this in msstyle coz i run WB exclusively nowadays.. can't wait for the port to be completed! nice work as always Kol

I wouldn't deny some great msstyles because you run windowblinds. You should use Skinstudio to import them. Not always 100% accuracy, but DAMN close.

Edit - Like I said above, I've been running this theme in windowblinds and have YET to find ANY problem.

ya i have reverted back and forth because of some pretty amazing msstyles lately, but i've been working on a few WB skins so it's kinda been necessary to stay in WB. I do a lot of porting and fixing of msstyles to WB.. half of the fun in using an msstyle is converting it and customizing/correcting it!! I guess I shouldn't have made it sound like I despise msstlyes.. :D

This may sound weird, but I'd really like to see a port with fully skinned logon/shutdown dialogs. Skinstudio Pro does a wonderful job on everything else, but due to the lack of support in msstyles themselves, it leaves WB imports looking odd.

Yes, please give us all the WB goodies. Logoff/Shutdown dialogs, progess anims, toolbar icons, ect... Too many people do ports of thier msstyles and don't include these things. It kind of makes the port useless if it is not adding anything.

Im going to include LogOff/Shutdown dialogs, all parts that msstyle doesnt skins are going to be skinned. I dont know yet if Im going to create toolbar and animations. I'll need FOOOD permission first. :)

Need any WB beta testers? ;)

Actually, I'd like to see if the progress bar problem I was having and the Wireless app issue I was seeing are fixed with the build you have of the skin when it's native to WB.

Thanks for the great work on it too.

    • When will the Photos app be updated to remember the window size and position when reopened? They addressed this issue in a 2024 version of the app (though I can't recall the build number). Unfortunately, after that specific version, the problem persists! Please prioritise this fix in your K2 schedule. Additionally, the Snipping Tool has lost the ability to capture the Windows Taskbar starting from the 2024 version!
