Your point being? It's not in the msstyle format......its in the USF or universal skin format. Nothing illegal about that last time I checked or asked.

Koopey: If you are so ****ed with WB and wincustomize, why did you make such a great WB theme (marina)?

Another post since people still ask: As people blame about the copyright stuff, what they care are the images, check The skins factory post in the blog (maybe his images are copyrighted, but the example applies to all) even some people's artwork stuff isnt copyrighted legally to authorities, some people would not even manage to show they made that bitmap in courts (maybe not even apple hypothetically) all that makes them look like the bad guys are the people saying they copied it, and people start flaming, the people, not the authorities, This in the end becomes a people fight, not a legal stuff, let authorities or even god if you belive in one and you dont like authorities take care if it was that bad (from msstyle being illegal, to wincustomize ports, and Bush attacking iraq) My point will still be that, fights will always be for the people, not because it's right or it's wrong, save your thoughts, I have been posting this because frogboy's blog post, he should have never done that, and as I should have kept the thoughts for myself.

The images in that skinstudio stuff are probably copyrighted by (Microsoft, which maybe couldnt even prove its their original design), and the images are being used to render the skinstudio base skin in it, about me using windowblinds, I only like the software for being hardware accelerated, I 'hate' the comunity, msstyles people are better in my opinion, and dont ask any more stuff cause Iwont answer anymore

koopy makeing personal attacks destroys any credibility you may have had ....

:-/ Don't be so overdramatic.

For the most part, all I see from Koop are very harsh opinions. He's entitled to those, and i tend to agree with most of them. Keep in mind that he's 16, his delivery might not be what you'd expect from a 33 year old frog.

Anyway, this is all going off topic, I never asked about any of this garbage, and it's more than just Koops "fault". If you want to discuss this, do it somewhere else. Me and Koop have more skins to finish up.

With each post you make yourself look more and more childish.

matt0: The problem is that koopey is claiming that I am saying that msstyles are illegal.

His entire tirade rests on this falsehood. I state in this thread that in my opinions .msstyles aren't illegal and he just pretends I didn't say it and just makes up his own thing.

When I say "I don't think msstyles are illegal" how can a sane person possibly conclude "Aha! Frogboy is saying they're illegal!"

What is it, opposite day?

Wow koopey you have found an article that has been around for over a week now and that over 130 people have responded to.  Great detective work sherlock.

I was answering to this statement before they lock the thread so people see

"The problem is that koopey is claiming that I am saying that msstyles are illegal.",
hEh
@RealFrogboy: It doesn't matter when end users think.

@RealFrogboy: Only skinners.

@RealFrogboy: And the main msstyles ksinners are on our side.

@RealFrogboy: At the end of the day, only people who buy software really count.

585244051[/snapback]

Who are those main msstyle skinners? It seems to be only a few outspoken immature children here that seem to be having a flame war.

Your last statement is the only correct one. People who software are the ones that count. And if you look at Stardock's sales you will see that Windowbllinds sales have taken off in 2004 and I fully expect it to continue in 2005.

hey koopey. i am middle aged. my youngest kid is older than you are. i admit there are days i feel much older than i really am, tho. if you hate stardock and wincustomize so much, why did you come into the stardock irc channel and ask the admins if you could be reinstated? you said you were going to contact brad about it, too. it boils down to the fact that you were distributing warez software and you were banned from wc for posting links to the software on wc. you make pretty darned good wb skins but your logic in being anti-stardock, anti-wincustomize, and anti-frogboy is quite ridiculous. you brought it all upon yourself. and the fact that when a person starts a new skin in sks and sees luna only means the luna interface is used as a template. doesn't that make sense since that is the interface most people are familiar with?

    • Quantum Error Correction Validated in Nature: Microsoft and Quantinuum Log 800-Fold Improvement Two years after the original press-release announcement, independently peer-reviewed results published in Nature on June 10, 2026, have confirmed that Microsoft and Quantinuum achieved an 800-fold reduction in quantum error rates on real trapped-ion hardware — the largest gap between physical and logical error rates ever independently validated.    What Quantum Error Correction Actually Does — and Why Breaking Even Is Hard https://www.techtimes.com/articles/318329/20260613/quantum-error-correction-validated-nature-microsoft-quantinuum-log-800-fold-improvement.htm   Quantum Computing Wiring Bottleneck Cracked by HKU Silicon Carbide Chip at Qubit Temperature Engineers at the University of Hong Kong have built the first cryogenic control chip that operates at the same temperature as superconducting qubits — 10 millikelvin, or just one-hundredth of a degree above absolute zero — without generating the heat that has forced every competing approach to park its electronics hundreds of meters of cable away. https://www.techtimes.com/articles/318325/20260613/quantum-computing-wiring-bottleneck-cracked-hku-silicon-carbide-chip-qubit-temperature.htm
    • RevPDF 4.5.0 by Razvan Serea RevPDF is a free, fully offline PDF editor for Windows, macOS, and Linux that lets you edit text and images directly inside PDF files — no internet connection, no account, and no cloud uploads required. Unlike bloated alternatives that demand subscriptions and constant connectivity, RevPDF fits in under 60MB on desktop while delivering a complete editing toolkit: annotate, redact, sign, compress, split, merge, convert, and reorganize pages, all processed locally on your device. Smart font matching ensures edited text blends seamlessly with the original, and multi-language support includes RTL scripts such as Arabic and Hebrew. Where most PDF editors force you to choose between features and simplicity, RevPDF manages both. You can build interactive forms from scratch with text fields, checkboxes, and dropdowns, permanently redact sensitive data before sharing, draw freehand on contracts and diagrams, and add custom watermarks — all without a single file leaving your machine. Edit Text and Images Directly Inside PDFs RevPDF supports true inline PDF editing — not just annotation layers on top of a document, but actual modification of existing text and images within the file. A smart font-matching engine identifies the font used in the original document and applies it automatically when you make edits, so changes blend naturally with the surrounding content. You can reposition elements, resize images, and update text across single pages or entire documents. RevPDF 4.5.0 release notes: This is one of the biggest updates to RevPDF yet. A lot of things people have been asking for are finally here. New Features Auto Redaction Permanently redact sensitive text and areas from your PDFs before sharing. Clean, irreversible, and fully offline. Comments, Links & Bookmarks Add comments for review, insert clickable links, and create bookmarks to jump around long documents without scrolling forever. Find & Replace Search across the whole document and replace text in one go. Long overdue. Split Pages Vertically or Horizontally Split any page down the middle, vertically or horizontally. Perfect for scanned books or double-page spreads. New Drawing Tools More tools for freehand drawing and markup, better for annotations, sketches, and detailed notes. Continuous Scrolling in Editor The editor now scrolls continuously through pages instead of jumping between them. Working through long documents is a lot smoother now. PDF Metadata Editor View and edit the metadata stored inside your PDFs, including title, author, subject, and keywords. Better Font Matching Text edits now blend in more naturally by doing a better job of matching the original font. Tabbed PDF Viewer Open multiple PDFs at once in tabs and switch between them without going back to the home screen. Add Links Insert hyperlinks anywhere in your PDF, to external URLs or to other pages within the document. Share & Print Shortcuts Share or print directly from the editing screen, home screen, and viewer. No extra steps. Minor Updates Paste images directly from clipboard into your PDF New image editing tools for more control over images inside documents Bug Fixes Fixed file saving issues on Windows and Linux Everything still works fully offline. No login, no cloud, no account. Your files stay on your device. • Interesting. I'm not using a VPN with my phone. I tried though my home internet (Rogers) and my cellular internet (Telus) and both trigger the dialog above.
