Fluxbox resolution prob

Yerps.

Just installed slack 10, with xorg & fluxbox.

When I use ctrl+alt+(+/-) to change the resolution, the screen goes corrupted, for all resolutions other than 1024x768, even though my card and LCD support much higher and lower resolution levels.

My LCD recognizes that the resolution changes, but it's just a gray, corrupted and slashed screen in all the other resolutions.

Why is it corrupted?! I just want to change the resolution to 1280x1024, gah!

What card, and what is your xorg.conf file look like?

I'd assume it's just a scan frequency issue, we need your xorg.conf and LCD make/model :)

post your /etc/X11/xorg.conf

you could always rerun xorgconfig and doublecheck your refreshrates although the result of high refreshrate would be the screen blinking "out of sync" hmm. Yeah we'd need to see it :p
