hi dude

well, maybe I'm wrong but I vote in other because I use Skype so I'm not sure if correct or not what I don't understand is all info above is need to pay for use and for use skype is free??? I'm wrong?? :)

I have used vonage for about 7 months now and like it a lot. The only problem I have had is it looses caller id once in awhile. A simple modem off then back on fixes it.

We had to go to it because our local phone monopoly charges per phone call, 5cents per min after I think 5 or 10 mins. The usual bill would be around $60 or so. If you had dial up, like my sister, the bill would easliy go over $100 each month. The guy that installed her phone told her it would be cheaper to get cable...lol..

ive been using vonage for a year now, its awesome how they kept lowering their price to 24.99. i use it as my backup phone (to cell phone) and to make lengthy long distance phone calls. fav feature on there is call xfer, where i can transfer someone im talking to, to another phone.

i myself am waiting for Shaw to start their voip service, what i like about it is they put a seperate modem in a box outside your house and hook it up so you can use the phone outlets that are curently in your house instead. and they also have a special band for the voip modems so u get much better quality and it doesnt interfer with ur speed

I just cancelled my vonage account, but that isn't due to their service, it was how my house phone lines were configured.

I need to rewire my house phone wires before I will reorder from vonage again. Their $14.99 a month is good for my household since we barely make any phone calls.

The only thing I hate about vonage is that they send you a linksys digital phone adapter, which is also a router. So I have to congure the damn linksys not to act as a dhcp server, connect it to my netgear, then to my home network. It was annoying to have two routers.

    • Do not enter the code under any circumstances, or you will be sorry. It's definitely and most likely a hacking attempt.  That happened to me a couple of years ago, and I kept receiving those prompts for months. It's simply the attacker trying to get you tired of the constant requests, so you just give up and enter the code, so they can log in to your account.
    • Ah well, who needs computers in the next 10... 15 years right? At this point is just money laundering.
    • RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and Voidwrought are free on the Epic Games Store by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe PC gamers can now jump in and grab two more games to keep this week, as the Epic Games Store's ever-present giveaway promotion has just gone through another refresh. Replacing last week's Citizen Sleeper and Robobeat offers, the store has brought in RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition and Voidwrought to keep. From the duo, Roller Coaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition is an enhanced version of the classic title that was originally released in 2004. It comes with enhancements such as widescreen and 1080p resolution support, as well as increased compatibility with modern PC hardware. It also comes bundled with all the extra content from the Soaked! and Wild! expansion packs. "Control park finances, shops, services and staff to succeed in dozens of scenarios," reads the description. "Become a true tycoon and embark on your promising new career, or create your ideal park without money woes in sandbox mode. Satisfy your guests’ needs and keep your park running smoothly to succeed." If management is not your style, Voidwrought lands as a 2D action-platformer featuring hand-drawn cosmic horrors. The title touts tight platforming and close‑quarters combat, all brought together with a strong emphasis on mobility. "Descend below the star-scorched surface and explore the multidimensional depths below," says the studio Powersnake about the game. "Witness the corrupted revelry of the Court, lose yourself in the icy tunnels of the Old Waters, and discover the grim fate of the Abandoned Expedition." The RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition and Voidwrought giveaways are set to run until June 25 on the Epic Games Store, giving PC gamers seven days to claim the latest offer. Once this closes out, new freebies will take their place on the same day as always. Don't forget that mobile gamers can check out the Epic Game Store's weekly giveaways on Android and iOS to grab a freebie there as well.
