Best alternative iPod software...

sorry, but what does that have to do with my question?

you asked about alternative ipod software and in your description you stated that you didnt want to use itunes. so in response i suggested wmp10 which you can use to organize your media, buy music and listen to your tracks on your device. now if i didnt answer your question, sorry, then may i advise that you word your question a little differently so others, such as myself, would understand what you are specifically looking for.

wmp10 is irrelevant because it doesn't support iPod ######; i'd use iTunes still if i wer u but its ephpod otherwise

in anyway was i being an ######? i think you need to lighten up a little bit there. excuse my ignorance but i didnt exactly know that ipods didnt work with wmp10. good job on being a prick.

you posted this in the wrong section...

My bad, I just thought the since the iPod was made by Apple and it is a piece of hardware, that is should located in the Apple Hardware Discussion...don't know why I would have thought that?

the reason why people jumped on you is because you posted a solution for Zen Micro....... we don't care about zen micro in this post. only ipod

then you then you said that you "suggested wmp10" (which you didn't, you only posted what worked with zen micro) AND IT DOESN'T EVEN WORK WITH IPOD

so what you need to learn from this..........

1) adress the FULL question that was asked (don't opt out ipod just because.....)

2) don't suggest things unless you know they work

Don't suppose you took the time to notice the parent forum is called...

Macintosh Customization & Support - So this forum is for All Apple Hardware, that is Macintosh related. Unfortunately you're beef has absolutely NOTHING to do with Macintosh computers, so this is infact in the wrong place, as StevoFC pointed out.

I don't suppose you happened to notice the stickied thread, posted by Chad, at the top of this thread too, did you? Well if not, now is as good a time as any...

Here's one click i just saved you, i've quoted the content of that thread...

From now on, ALL Ipod discussion and/or support threads should be posted in the Mobile Devices forum. We realize the IPod can fit into both Apple Hardware and Mobile Devices, but the MD forum was made specifically for items such as the IPod. As well as for organizational purposes, it makes no sense to allow posting of the ipod in two different forums. The Apple Hardware forum, from now on, shall be used specifically for hardware support/discussion related to Apple computers.

    • It use to be a nightmare, with LibreOffice supporting a newer draft ODF standard by default, and Microsoft Office supporting the older non-draft standard. Now that they both support the same version of ODF, they should be interoperable.
    • Brave Browser 1.91.171 by Razvan Serea Brave Browser is a lightning-fast, secure web browser that stands out from the competition with its focus on privacy, security, and speed. With features like HTTPS Everywhere and built-in tracker blocking, Brave keeps your online activities safe from prying eyes. Brave is one of the safest browsers on the market today. It blocks third-party data storage. It protects from browser fingerprinting. And it does all this by default. Speed - Brave is built on Chromium, the same technology that powers Google Chrome, and is optimized for speed, providing a fast and responsive browsing experience. Brave Browser also features Brave Rewards, a system that rewards users with Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) for viewing opt-in ads. This innovative system provides an alternative revenue model for content creators and a way to support the Brave community. SlimBrave Neo takes all the good things about Brave and makes them even better by keeping everything clean, light, and privacy-focused. It removes the extra clutter, turns off features you might not need, and cuts down on anything that could slow you down or collect unnecessary data. Because it relies on simple settings and policies instead of modifying the browser itself, you still get full Brave compatibility—just in a smoother, lighter, and more privacy-friendly package. Brave Browser 1.91.171 changelog: General Fixed Cardano not being disabled on upgrade to Brave Origin. Upgraded Chromium to 149.0.7827.103. • Hi. As the title suggests, I can't access the forum on my phone. I'm using Edge on Android and when I try to navigate to the forum I get a "we value your privacy" popup and none of the buttons are clickable. It effectively stonewalls me from reading any forum content.
    • Honestly you're not wrong about AdGuard. Neowin frequently has lifetime license discounts for them and that's how I got my cheap family license a few years ago to run it on all my devices.
