2006 Dodge Charger

yes but the difference is the 05 mustang is a reality.  that camaro is just something some kid did in maya for fun.  chevy has no plans of actually putting the camaro back into production.  it has been rumored, but thats about it.  quite a shame really, they pretty much handed the rwd performance car market to ford.

When my friends and I went to the car show in Chicago, they told us that 2004 would be the last year of production for the Camaro. They were going to try and replace it with another car, or just throw it out completely.

ugh! that is not a charger! that is a 300c with a new frontend. and no charger should come with a v6! and why are there 4 doors!??! they should have came out with there concept verison they put out awhile ago, that looked alot better.

Illinipi, they stop making the camaro and firebird/trans am back in '99 i think, they ruined it with a crapy engine and crapy looks. though the new camaro that i saw on this thread looks really good.

It's a really nice car, but it's not a Charger. The Charger is a muscle car, that is more like a semi-luxury sedan. That Camaro Mustang looks awesome. Hopefully Chevy will get its act back together someday and produce nice cars and bring back a performance car, and I'm not talking about the awesome new Corvette, for the masses.

About the V6. Maybe, but in the 60's/70's they came with a 318 which woulld be very comparable with that V6.

And for the UK snob that was critisizing the V6 it makes 250 lb-ft (340 Nm) @ 3,800 which comes from the 3.5 L over say a 3L. You won't see many NA cars making that torque with a smaller displacement engine. For instance the 350Z has a 3.5 and makes 274 lb-ft @ 4,800 rpm with more valves. BMWs have a small 2.5L that makes almost 200hp but its a DOHC and torque is hardly impressive at 181lb-ft. Thugh I've read that engine maintains that small ammount for a long range.

So you must be talking about turbocharged cars which leads me to believe you don't know what your talking about.

So I don't know where you get off saying America is somewhere behind the rest of the world. Especially the UK.

I actually meant to say 2002. Thats the last year they made the Camaros. My friend has one, its the 35th Anniversary Edition. He's planning on keeping it all stock, hoping to make some money down the road.

Dodge should stick with trucks.

 Looks like a car that's having personality issues.

I'm a car...but I want to be a truck!

Look at the hood and the grill! No way!

This is great, I saw the pic, and jumped to reply! Has anyone said, "this is my dad's FAVORITE

CAR".

Always makes me tell the tale he told me about when he was a teenager back in those days.

He picked one of these up for like - < $5K when he was 17 or so; Brand SpankN new. Anyway, young kid with a car like that, not to mention they used Lead back then, right ^_^ So naturally authorities impounded it from him. They took it away and said "hey son, this too much grill for you". And just like, a young boy's dreams were trampled by the system... REVEL boys and girls, look at all this stuff we got!

He's gonna be happy when i break this news to him.

And He was too, excited about Ford's "reinventing", the Mustang, but the Charger will be much more fun.

He has a point. This car is aimed specifically at his dad. Those guys in the 60s/70s that are older with families or are more likely to buy a sedan. One of these in black with nice rims and tinted windows would look mean and have the muscle to back it up. Can't wait for one of these to be supercharged.

He's not gonna buy one, so I hope Dodge has something more in their bag. It is my opinion that the only resemblance to the original model is the radiator and the shape of the cabin. Why are they making everything round, it makes me want to criticize it with that word that us new generation use when we don't like something and are in doubt of it; starts with a 'g'. It should not be round in the rear, Everything is ROUND now, even Americans!

    • I totally disagree. Very little good comes out of governments all around the world manipulating everything they can and usually the people are not the benefactors. What you say about being restricted and expensive sounds almost like the arguments against firearms and why banning them will protect people as if making something illegal somehow will prevent the criminals from having and using them. AI being far less mainstream could simply mean the average person will not benefit, but "big brother" and the corporations will benefit, which is almost for sure NOT a good thing.
