Ipod song transfer to different computer

I'm sure this has been asked before...i just can't find it!

I've got an ipod mini and i was wondering if i could transfer the songs from my ipod onto my other computer which doesnt have any ipod software installed. is this possible? if so how?

Well..... first this thread belongs in the PDA/Mobile Devices Thread as per the sticky at the top of the page. 2nd try http://www.ipodlounge.com as they have plenty of software out there. 3rd Google is your friend.. and here is the results of a search for "Get Music off iPod"

And there (above) is another fine example of a post without an answer. Too many people acting like mods on here...

I believe the way forward for this, as a number of people have suggested, is not to use iTunes, but rather that there is a plugin for Winamp that bypasses a great many restrictions.
