Nokia 6600 or Orange SPV C500

I want to bui a new mobile phone because my Nokia 3310 in very old , but I want to select a good phone . Please help me with this problem.

Nokia 6600 is a symbian 7.0 series 60 os phone. its a decent platform (and there are plenty of apps) but it doesnt really compare with the spv's windows mobile, not to mention problems with stereo sound etc.

My vote goes for the SPV

My last phone was the 6600, I currently have the c500.

The only thing that the c500 wins on is the camera quality, other than that, I would say go 6600.

Huge amount of games/programs (Nintendo/Sega emulator etc.) for Nokia. I would choose any Symbian solution over Windows Mobile, but it's your choice.

Btw, Is Orange SPV 500 locked so you can get new software only from Orange?

Nokia 6600 wins hands down as it can run Over 18 Different N-gage games.....not to say that i have :whistle: :whistle:

Can also be used as a remote for TV, VCR, DVD

Has both Bluetooth & Infra-Red

6600 is a gr8 phone , it has many addons & you can do a lot with it , but technicaly speaking id rather have a spv 500 to a 6600 cuz its windows mobile , better & sleeker lookin

spv can do everything the nokia can do and has better screen, camera, more memory and more programs available. if your on orange then you need to unlock the software restriction to get more software, if ur not on orange then u need to sim unlock it aswell which costs ?20.

The nokia 6230, is a samll basic phone, a bit of agirly phone in all honesty, had it binned it. The nokia 6600, whilst been a really good phone is also very buggy still today, I have owned one for over a year, I have just recently brought an spv c500, quite frankly I am amazed with the thing.

I as a mac user will say this this is the first windows phone I have liked. In fact I love it. It is small, loads of software, great battery life, has not crashed once, just need to unlock it from orange now taht is all.

How so? My mum is getting one free from some company (hopefully) and I am having it. I thought the Nokia 6600 was really cool. Did u have any bad problems with yours? or did u just not like it from preference?

Ive got a C500 and its absolutely amazing, i also have been on the 6600 and to my mind theres no comparison between them
