i'm still looking for a car and i've decided the Altima, 1. are hard to find and 2. they are very expensive, even for a used car.

so it has come down to these two Honda Accords. they're both the same price, but i have a hard time choosing. i list the difference and then choose which you'd get and why?

1999 Accord EX (EX is top of the line model)

Power Door Locks

Tilt Wheel

Single Compact Disc

Dual Front Air Bags

ABS (4-Wheel)

Moon Roof

Alloy Wheels

=============

2002 Accord LX (LX is the middle trip package)

60,000 Miles (40,000 mile warrenty remaining)

Air Conditioning

Power Steering

Power Windows

Power Door Locks

Tilt Wheel

Cruise Control

AM/FM Stereo

they are both within $2,000 of each other... the 99 is $12,000 and the 2002 is $14,000... the price doesn't matter because i'm going to demand $8,000 and $10,000 at the most (10g's includes tax, and license fees.)

so which would you get?

Really, in all honesty, it depends on how important the moon roof is to you. Because otherwise, regardless of the model, they are the same cars. Same engine, same body, everything. Unless the higher class model has leather seats and the other doesn't, the only pro to the 99 is the moon roof.

In my opinion, get the 2002. You should be able to haggle to 10k flat after everything for it.

Vice King, if you're still undecided; I would recommend you review the specs you're comparing: possibly

AutoTrader Direct Lookup, because I can't believe Anti Lock Brakes aren't available in both those models. That should be a decision maker - go with the ABS if it's not in both. And that's a nice car, you're gonna look slick with either one of them, and hopefully drive safe.
