jdlarson83
As we all know the new mac mini's are soon coming out, i was wondering if anyone knows of a Mac like Media Center Application comparable to Windows Media Center Edition. If there is not, i have started looking into developing such an application and started looking into doing some concept art as well.. Thoughts and Suggestions Welcome Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/271242-mac-media-center/ Share on other sites

Southern Patriot
There are also a few Linux-based apps around that might not be too hard to get running on the Mac. Freevo is one of them. jdlarson83
I should have been more clear, i was looking for Software Only Solutions for this, i have yet to find one, so i am going to make one. It's going to be very mac'ish using all the fun of quartz extreme and openGL for the interface. Im working on getting concept art and concept flash demo's put together. Tiger.Girl
I did run across SwitchRes X so there is 'powerstrip for mac' I guess I was wrong I should have specified when I was talking about ffdshow I ment mac lacks the proper post processing filters and such for what I would consider an acceptable image for HDTV/DVD playback Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/271242-mac-media-center/#findComment-585296661 Share on other sites
