Im looking to change my car, its a clio 2004 1.2 dynamique. its costing me ?260 a month, im looking to spend ?150. These means im looking tp spend around ?5-6k.

Only thing is, i want everything in a car, my clio has air con, xenons, 6 stack cd player etc.

So, i've been looking into getting like a Audi A3, my brother has one, but the 1.8T, which i cant get insured on, but its lovly. So i can get a 1.6SE or sport, some come with leather etc.

Or something like a focus, can get alot of car for the money, as there are so bloody many of them.

I think i have covered every option in cars, and have narrowed it down to the above and similar.

Anyway, what car would you buy for that price, it has to be a small car, nothing bigger than the A3, not van or any of that crap.

A3 is quite expensive for what you get. It is a small car with the price tag of a big car, quality is great and material used is heavy and descent... on the road on the other hand it nice if you only use it for long trips. It lacks the fun and feeling of driving. Don't get me wrong. It drives really smooth but it reacts a bit slow. If you want driving pleasure go for a new focus and add some nice options.... it's a lot more fun to drive... very responsive on the steering and sticks to the road. I have both cars. The a3 is the company car and the focus i have as my personal car. In the weekends i drive the focus as I have a rather sporty driving styl:pinch:ch:

When you say "new", how new, like i said limited to 5-6k here.

If you like the Audi why not look at the sporty Seats.  They are the same car as the Audi underneath for a lot less money.

    • Autonomous post-training loop placed 8th of 4,000 and then rewrote its own evaluation strategy. An autonomous AI system built by researchers at Amazon's A-EVO-Lab completed a full post-training run on a 30 billion parameter NVIDIA Nemotron model — with no human in the loop, across four rounds running over multiple weeks — and then did something its designers had not planned for: it detected that its own internal evaluation metric had become misleading and redesigned the search strategy it was using to improve itself. https://www.techtimes.com/articles/319123/20260626/nvidia-ai-trained-itself-30b-model-corrected-its-own-broken-metric-mid-run.htm

    • If Ford would stop hiring SUITS to run the company, and put CAR GUYS back in charge perhaps they could do better. Heck, the only CAR they produce today is the Mustang. Hey Ford! Not everyone needs/wants an overpriced SUV or pickup truck that is so tall you have to have a step ladder to get in and out of it.
    • Amazing how some will just jump all over something. Probably the same people that thought Musk was a "tech god" before he saddled up with "bad orange man". Before, they worshiped at his feet, including a lot of so called hollywood types. Now, because he fell off the plantation truck, they toss him under the bus.
