Use my Radeon 9800 Pro in my Powermac?

Ive got a 9800 Pro 256MB Radeon gfx card in my current PC (AGP). Im hoping to get a new powermac soon, can I put the card in there without any fuss?

I dont think you can, you need a MAC 9800 :( Or atleast you need your Pbook to support that card.

edit: okay im back, and ATi has a Mac version of each card, and i dont think they'll just make a new type of card if the others work with macs :/

It used to be possible to flash the firmware in the 8500 cards, but the new Radeons have different chips altogether for Mac and for PC, so it's no longer possible to just patch the firmware.

You will need to buy a Mac 9800. :(
