shockz
I went to go pick up some things I forgot to take out of my car at the body shop and I went inside to get some CDs. All I can say is :x. It reeks... it smells like a combination of rust proofing, burn't rubber, paint, and just an overal/sulfer metal smell. I get the car back soon (hopefully 5-6 days) and I'm pretty sure its still going to smell. Anybody have ideas on how to get the nasty stink out. Air Freshener brands (really powerful), etc... shamometer
When you get the car back, try pouring 4 oz. of windsheild washer fluid in the the intake vent right below the windsheild wipers. That is where the fresh air enters the a/c system when you have it set to fresh air. Turn the air on and make sure it not set for recycle. This will kill any bacteria that may be in you blower housing. Remeber not to pour to much. This tip works for decaying leaves that get trapped in there also. Hope it helps Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/272080-my-car-smells-very-bad/#findComment-585301296 Share on other sites
