Anyone can do what they want at any age they want. Age does not stop you from doing what you actually can do.

Congrats to her for a new family member. I grief for one of the twins who died during birth.

she artificially postponed her menopause purely so that she could complete the whole of her career before having a family (so i've heard)...what a luxury!! the rest of us mere mortals juggle a career and a family!

just because the science is there, it doesn't mean it's morally correct to use it!

utterly selfish....if she dies in 10 years time (and there's a good chance she might) not only will her child suffer, but she will have added another orphan to the 1000's already needing care in her country.

imo, fertility treatment (whether self funded or not) should be denied to people over a certain age.
