I noticed a difference between IE and Firefox when you click a link.

In FireFox the cursor becomes "Arrow and hourglass" while its only an arrow in IE.

I just wanted to hear if there is some way to make Firefox not display that hourglass cursor when loading a page? An extension? :) I could not find anything about it in the about:config page.

Its no big deal but i just felt that i don't need to know if the page is loading. I can see that for myself :p

that has to do with you mouse and cursor settings on your computer. Start->Settings->Control Panel->Mouse->pointers-> Then change the 'Working in background' to whatever one you like. Its 'working in background' because the tab is opening in the background.

No it has something to do with firefox. It is programmed into firefox that it should change the cursor when working in the background. It has nothing to do with windows. I do want the working in background cursor in other apps so changing the cursor in windows is not the best idea.

The cursor change isn't coded into firefox :dontgetit:

The cursor is automatically changed when the computer is "working in background". Windows determines this state itself; it is coded into the Windows API, which Firefox uses. There is no way to change it, AFAIK.
