BEAUTIFUL!!

THAT'S JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!

Was the paint airbrushed on and then glossed over?

I love modding my gadgets (see Titanium P800 or Tahiti MGF)

Let me know, (now if only I had an iBook)

The paint job cost me $60 Kiwi (around $35 US) :D

It was around 3 coats of black, plus 2 clear coats airbrushed on. He laquered the finish for me too. It was sooo cheap, its just cos he hasn't started his company yet.

hey snitch

you could use that mod for the color sheet and make it red (make the apple on the back red)--> iBook U2 edition

you know that mod by steveFC

Im thinking about this. Its ALOT more labour intensive than i think any of you could possibly realise. You basically pull the computer down to its lowest form, it takes alot of care not to break anything.

BTW if you live in NZ and want this done, PM me and i'll see what I can do. If your outside NZ, im sure you could ship to me, and i could get it done much cheaper than the US $400 job colorware rip off. :D

Wow, that looks amazing   :D

More....pics.....please....  :pinch:

Note how the edge of the lid framing the screen is white. My friend originally forgot to paint it as he had the lid face down when he sprayed it. I was gunna take it back for him to finish, but ended up just sanding the edge smooth white. It actually looks real nice.

Also, teh tabs on teh keyboard i forgot to get painted. :pinch: But, im getting them done, dont worry :)

    • Yes for me, I installed 'old calculator' (Windows 7 calculator) in its place since it is more useful to me. I think paint is the only one I left installed
    • eh I'll wait for the June 2026 MVS ISO downloads which should be coming out next Tuesday June 16 and possibly contain build 8655 instead of 8653
