New "Athlete" album

Just wanted to comment on how good the new Athlete album "Tourist" is.

I reccomend to anyone who likes Coldplay, Keane etc.

My fav songs are "Chances", "Wires" and "Yesterday threw everything at me"

Incase you don't know, they are British band, and have had one other prvious album titled "Vehicles and animals"..that was awesome to ;)

Hmm, it got a distinct "meh" from me. I loved Athlete's last album so I was naturally looking forward to this, I adore Wires as well and play it non stop but the whole album just seemed like a whole lot of nothing. It's not bad by any means, there's a couple of good songs and perhaps it'll grow on me but it really seems like a "no risk" album, they played it safe and made a collection of "nice" songs.

But like I said, I intend on giving it a real good listen, it often takes me a while to like an album.

Im glad i didnt go after seeing them perform at the Brits launch Party..

I'm like that, i have to listen a few times before really getting into it...if it is any good that is :)

And btw, how come i have bought this on iTunes...but on the athlete website the release date is "31st January" :/

Something is wrong with my Track no. 7 "Yesterday Threw Everything At Me" :(

It's bought from iTunes, and it has bits where it seems jumpy, and now it is missing from the iTunes music store, no track 7 on the album, when it's fixed and back up again, do ya think i will get it for free? :/
