insanekiwi
this should be in software discussion ;) and i don't think you can change the font without reshacking winamp. DeepBlade
For the longest time I've been wondering why they don't serve 2.x anymore on their site.. I don't want winamp 5 which uses more resources.... dreamz Veteran Posted January 24, 2005 Veteran Share Posted January 24, 2005 at least in 2.9x, playlist fonts are in the wsz (skin) files. you can edit them in there. roth377
i see. well i'm using 2.95 ;) 585349246[/snapback] For the longest time I've been wondering why they don't serve 2.x anymore on their site.. It is a STRAIGHT continuation of the same code. It's that simple. If you don't want to use more resources, then when you install winamp, just don't include support for modern themes (and I think one other thing). Then you DO have winamp 2.9x with all the bugfixes and such. I strongly recommend you read this and this Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/275728-how-to-change-winamp-playlist-font/#findComment-585355109 Share on other sites
CCR
for winamp 2.xx you have to change the font in the skin-file. open the .wsz, .zip or what ever with winrar and open pledit.txt Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/275728-how-to-change-winamp-playlist-font/#findComment-585355388 Share on other sites

If it works for you without any crashes, then no need to change. I just don't like it when people claim 5 is SO much more bloatware, etc than 2.9x when it's NOT (simply turn off modern theme support). I (honestly) am not sure what you mean by big and bulky (possibly the modern theme?...you can turn that off). Concerning the playlist font (trying to get back on topic ;) ), does anybody have a suggestion for a good font (other than default)? Every font I've tried has looked fugly when done in playlist window. Even with modern skin support turned on...you can still load the classic skin without any of the 5.x Modern Skin Bloat Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/275728-how-to-change-winamp-playlist-font/#findComment-585356532 Share on other sites
