Biggest Tennis epic Match, did anyone watch?

I watched Maria Sharapova vs. Serena Williams  last night I had to turn it off that noise coming out of her mouth I wanted to knock her out.

same heh. but it's always fun to watch women tennis. first they sweat, then they start freezing and whoops, there you go: hard nipples

Sad testament to tennis if that is the case.

why is that a sad testament to tennis?

unfortunately, espn doesn't show live aussie open matches unless there is an american playing, so i didn't get to watch this match, although i would have wanted to.

i will watch the hewitt vs. roddick match tonight though.

as annoying as sharapova is, it was a hell of a match, and a hell of comeback by serena. for the most part, it was a high quality match, and very exciting.

I was watching some of the women trade orgasmic screams in the Maria Sharapova vs. Serena Williams match.  Never saw who won, but man that Sharapova is hot.  ;)

Edit - Williams won.

HAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAAHAH

Only thing worth watching about Sharapova was the peg marks in the front of her top.

Man, those screams she makes are off putting. Isnt that too loud? Didnt someone complain about Monica Seles in the past grunting too much and she was asked to turn it down?

Well Sharapova needs to turn it down. Its shocking.

Go Serena

yeah, thast the thing with maria. honestly, comparing to monica, i think monicas where higher pitched, but they were pretty short. it's one thing to grunt or exhale loudly, but last night, it got to the point where maria was just basically yelling. it wasn't a grunt or a loud exhale. she really needs to tone it down.

and did you notice in the 3rd set (if you didn't have your tv on mute) there were periods of time when she was as quiet as can be. so you know it's not something she needs to do, it's just something she does to annoy opponents.

i've played tennis my whole life, and you are definitely capable of controlling your grunts.

why is that a sad testament to tennis?

Saying Federer and Safin are "2 of the most talented and gifted tennis players ever to play in the modern era" is way off.

McEnroe, Connors, Lendl, Bjorg, Becker, Sampras?

Federer and Safin couldn't string those guys' rackets.

i dunno about that man. safin's a headcase, so it depends on his attitude, but when he is on, he can beat anybody, including the guys listed there. do you remember who he beat to win his first US Open?

now federer easily deserves to belong on that list. he is at a level right now that is so far above everybody else, it's almost making it boring. he is a pure player, a pure shotmaker, serves well, and has speed. he will be dominant for years to come. he definitely belongs on that list.

i agree. federer is still young, but he's definitely going to be in that list.

but i believe the poster was referring to players actually on tour now.

but i don't think tennis is in a sad state. federer is amazing, could be one of the best ever. marat has really been playing well (when he has his head on straight), andy roddick, and lleyton hewitt are all playing really good tennis, and there's been some really good competition.

I was shocked that Federer lost, I thought he was unbeatable, thats how he is being hyped up but at least now it makes it interesting.

Roddick vs Hewitt is soon also, that should be good also. It would be nice for Hewitt to go all the way and win it

    • Thanks, Sony and Nintendo, you effectively killed platform-agnostic gaming. Long gone are the days when you could wish to play a specific game on whatever platform you were. Now, you have to buy the hardware just to play that single game. What, you're only interested in THAT game and nothing more? Bad luck, suck it and buy our console.

    • "CRAZIER than ever!" Crazy Taxi: World Tour is officially coming soon by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Sega announced it is working on bringing back some of its classic franchises in 2023, and while it has taken some time, the company finally gave fans a look at one of these new projects at the Xbox Games Showcase today, which turned out to be a brand-new Crazy Taxi entry. Watch the debut trailer above, which has snippets of gameplay in between the cinematic bits while blasting a track from The Offspring. Dubbed Crazy Taxi World Tour, this installment is aptly being described as being "CRAZIER than ever!" The director behind the original, Kenji Kanno, is helming this new entry as well, which will come with access to five new cities to drive in, competitive multiplayer modes, a vehicle customization system, and more. Axel is returning as a protagonist as well, but this time a mystery driver is offering him the opportunity to take his adventures to the streets in other countries. This will involve Axel chasing down masked villains that have somehow stolen his taxi, which means even more extreme missions and challenges to overcome. "From transporting passengers at top speed to tackling unique side missions and odd jobs across dynamic maps, there are countless ways to drive crazy and rake in big money," says Sega about this new installment after over 20 years. "Perform outrageous drifts, catch insane air, and drive at crazy speeds across five different cities as you work to deliver passengers and complete a variety of missions and challenges." The studio has even confirmed an in-game Arcade Mode that players will be able to access containing the original games for plenty of nostalgic action. Crazy Taxi: World Tour is currently slated to release sometime in 2027 across PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
    • This and Crazy Taxi are the two games that interested me the most from this showcase.
