Bangbang, one of the mods here, works at best buy. I suggest you PM him to help you out. He might not know the answer, but its worth a shot.

Let's put it this way, my iRiver h120 got peed on by one of my cats and they replaced it with an h320 no questions asked. I work there, but yeah, most of the customer service people are a little on the slow/uncaring side. You should have no problem. Just say you were charging it over night and that when you woke up it was off and wouldn't turn back on.

I was at best buy last night to see about replacing my ipod with my replacement warranty as well. They informed me that their policy has changed, and they no longer do replacement warranties, only repair ones, so in a way I lucked out. However, I have to call their 1-800 number to have a voucher for the price of the item sent to me, and then send my old broken ipod to them. Apparently they no longer service (replace) items in store. I think I'll just wait until my warranty is about to go out, and hopefully by then Apple will have released yet another Ipod revision. :D

going along with my previous posts, when you get a replacement voucher do you just send them the ipod or the whole thing (headphones, firewire cable, etc.)?

Usually only the ipod or the "main" item because that's the one with the problem.

If you have any other problems then you take them with it.
