Nesting Software.

Hi I am looking for some nesting software (hopefully free) that does 2d nesting preferably through a standard CAD interface. Nothing spectacular just somthing that works. I am working on a project and I have been having to do this by hand.I know that sofware could finish the job in a few minutes instead of a few days of doing things by hand which really takes the energy right out of you. If you guys know where I could get some it would be an incredible help.

Nesting software basically fits the most shapes into a plane so that you can cut them out with the smallest loss of material for example

But notmally it's done it is for much more complex shapes. Doing this by hand takes hours of work. :x I think this job will kill me. Help...
