Help Me Find Monitor Specs

I have a compaq fs940 monitor and i want to know what the max resolution/refresh rate is. but hp/compaq has none of this stuff on their site(its an old monitor). its set at 1600x1200@70hz right now and its kiilling my eyes.

if anyone knows if they have pdf manuals somewhere or a site that has this stuff, please help. ive tried google already...

i dont know how accurate the info is, i found it on google

in windows, it detected it as 70hz, in linux, it detected it as 72hz. i set it down to 70 because i was afraid it would break it, but it worked at 72. if it displays somehting, does that mean it supports it or would it eventually just crap out on me?
