A name has been decided upon, just now.

As a few of u might know lately i have been losing sleep over the SSL connections, which are used to authenticate your MSN Messenger account. The server to do this is called nexus.passport.com ( just a little nickname... like how i call my pc xenox )

The new name for this messenger will be.... Nexus

just so you know, nexus is a dutch company that builds computer cases, fans and materials to make your pc more silent :p

it's not software though, so i guess it's OK

ok we have decided on what we are doing, since the only thing that is remotely inspired by wave 11 is the top blue area, we will just drop th bars and toolbar area, and build our own ideas there. that way NOTHING is from wave 11.

well if something better than nexus comes along it will change, its no big deal :) BTW as for the SSL... its super p****g me off now so what im gonna do is leave it for now, code it using @hotmail accounts to fix up the other stuff and add login window etc, and then come back to it at a later date, ill probably think of something then. OK back to the white backgrounds with black and blue Courier fonts!!! weeeeeeeee RSI for me..

Looks really good.

Screw the MSN one. If it looks similar, then its easier to use and it looks like a lite version - I would rather use Gmessanger than MSNm. Looks a lot cleaner.

Yeah plus would be a important feature... If not that, then at least implement your own Boss Mode feature plz.

we obviously cant use Plus! in its current form as its built for MSNm but we can try to impliment those things.

Considering MsgPlus! Uses 508K of ram i kinda doubt that

Plus! just can't work with it as the coding of MSN Messenger and GMessenger are totally different. Plus! is only created to work with MSN Messenger and Windows Messenger on Windows.

This looks like good software, if it would support multiple IM protocols, I would use it, but most people I talk to use AIM, so I am going to have to stay with Trillian(I do not like it alot.) :D

aack don't that way you'll just have another one of them messenger that try to do too much stuff and can manage everything just fine, but don't surpass the originals...

and I think you want to try and be better the MSN Messenger, so I'd say, focus on 1 protocol first and then maybe when you're at like 1.5 start THINKING about more protocols vor v2 :p

Same here. This is something I would definitely use if it supported AIM. Elegant and simple. I love it.
