THE SITE

Also ive noticed the domain is up so ill update that as soon as sam gets us the login details.

Over the next week I will not be able to work on nexus much as I have some VERY important coursework to hand in, I hope you understand this and would please remain patient until the week after where I will be back, fresh, and ready to work more on nexus.

In the meantime I hope you will support Team-Nexus in the building of the website which will continue during the next week.

Thank You VERY much :)

Looking nice :). Don't worry about working on it, get your coursework out of the way, like i should be

can u make it work with aim network

585504448[/snapback]

NO don't do that. thiis is supposed to be dedicated to the msn network. let's leave it at that. the more networks it supports the more crappy it becomes.

the alpha worked perfectly for more, aside from the missing functions obviously. nice to see a range of statuses, but why bother with 'idle'? it's not much different to just 'online' if you're at the computer, and if you're not then 'away' and 'be right back' will do just fine.

invisible, on the other hand, is excellent.

looks beautiful too!

away = person set status to away to make people think they're gone

idle = computer set status to away because user was inactive

i'm actually going to be fixing up my site and cross-coding it because dayle's site looks like crap in firefox :p

when some of our domain problems (domain not connecting with dns servers) gets cleared up, i'll get working on the forums, so stay tuned for a link

I'm proud to announce that Neowin's own KoL ( www.studiotwentyeight.com ) has joined Team-Nexus and is designing the website, bammer will be coding the website :).

I am a great fan of KoLs work, have been using panther since it was released and look forward to the result.

Go KoL!!

    • Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
