I understand, nothing can appeal to everyone.

Thats why they are trying to make it easily skinnable, so that everyone can have what they want (I personally want a skin to go with classic, something VERY basic).

/edit and in fact, I'm going to start another skin, a darker one. And maybe make a classic one after.

3cube thats awesome but I liked it better with the conversation on top and typing box under neath. Will there be a choice for which way it's gonna appear or are you gonna leave it like that?

Yeah I would like to give the User that option since some people like it at the top and some like it at the bottom. But that is dependant on how the skinning will work for Nexus. My understanding is that the skinner will have control over that. I hope.

From what I hear, Rus has most of his work done but LeeC is having some troubles. I haven't heard much from them though cause I'm working full time now (weekends included). Apon asking LeeC about the project the last time, and finding he was having troubles, I asked him "Is Nexus dead?" he said "No. Just on hold".

I'm as anxious as you guys are.

Well I'd hate to say this but I'm calling it dead AGAIN. Unfortunatly, I have not had contact with Lee in 21 days and MSN Plus tells me I haven't seen him online in 6. So unless he comes back to me with some crazy update, I'm calling it dead.

My webspace also crashed on me (due to server problems) so this is why I haven't exactly posted the site up. I'm awaiting for the parts that they ordered in to come in.

It was a fun ride when it was steadily updated and active. Unfortunatly it seems to be dead. Lee hasn;t been active in this topic for ages either. I think Rus has lost interest in everything also. So our coders are gone and I'm sure the skinners have all but forgotten about this project.

I was really the only member of the team who was trying to be as active as possible. I was kind of the 'Public Relations Guy' but I can't have public relations without a project. :( :( :(

Oh well, it was too good to be true unfortunately. Maybe MSN Messenger 8 will have all of these features. :p

    • I noticed this was already happening within my organization; my teams location will change between remote and on-site without me having to do anything. Is it possible this is live already for select customers?
    • I wonder what it will show when I'm plugged in with my ethernet cable at home and not using WiFi.
    • While LibreOffice is not pleased to see a new competitor, they are absolutely correct in stating that Euro-Office using a MS file standard as a default is not being truly "European." Using a MS standard just means Euro-Office is just a "bastardized MS Office Suite." (Wasn't a major purpose of Euro-Office was to get away from being captive and enslaved to MS's Office Suite??)
    • Microsoft continues its long-term policy of spying on their users--despite vehement denials. That feature will be disabled (or removed) either "elegantly" with MS providing a true way to disable it, or "quick and dirty" via a third-party who WILL come up with a way to disable it.
