Sorry about that. My neowin message-box is usually blasted and I rarely get to read/reply to all the messages.

As for the AutoPatcher 2003, we're waiting for more SP1 updates.

I am running the Datacenter Edition and I try to install SP1, but it will not let me because it's a DC edition, only Standard, Web, and Enterprised can used SP1.

Can someone pleased give me a link, casue it is a headhead to go to MS Update and download 48 fix then reboot and download 2 more fix, then reboot then download one more fix.

Is there any where to used nlite to do a unattented install with the fix?

the mega uploads link isnt dead: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=413WUHJ9

i really am supprised by how many people havent applied SP1 yet, there have been 211 downloads of this old AP feb05 win2003 SP0 release from megauploads alone!!

are all these people running win2003 as standalone machines in replacement of xp for some reason, or are these people actually doing this on live servers???

@mahdiprog

MegaUpload mirror support resume. Try this steps:

1. I am using Download Accelerator Plus v5.0 (DAP).

2. Click on the MegaUpload mirror link.

3. Right click on the "Click here to download" and choose "Download with DAP.

4. On Download File Info click on "Advance" and in "Acceleration mode:" choose "Normal speed" then click "OK".

5. Then click on "Start Download".

6. It will start downloading with one connection to MegaUpload mirror, but the connection is too slow, for dialup connection it has a average speed of 2 KB/Sec. estimated time to finish is more than 16 hours.

7. Try to stop connection and try it again for about 5 mins. to test that it can be resume.

8. In my experience the resume works, but sometimes I experience connection error I usually repeat steps 2 to 7.

9. Just remember that you must have only ONE connection to the MegaUpload mirror.

10. This step is not perfect because sometimes my download got corrupted but I usually correct it using the Torrent file, but AutoPacther 2003 does not have a torrent link so you cannot correct a corrupted download. Just crossed you fingers and hope your download will not be corrupted.

Hope this steps help.

I just test this steps and the resume works.

    • Yeah, this is absolutely nothing new and EA have done it before. Burnout Paradise, released in 2008, had dynamic advertising billboards that were updated via the internet and targeted people based on location and what EA knew about them from their profile. It was particularly notable for the fact that the Obama presidential campaign ran ads in the game, in an attempt to reach a younger audience who didn't watch broadcast TV any more. It was by no means the first though. Battlefield 2142 from 2006 had the same thing. In fact, Neowin wrote a story about it back then. https://www.neowin.net/news/ba...-in-game-ads-clarification/
    • This is obviously aimed at the education where Apple has lost so much ground to Chromebooks in the last few years, but unless they come up with a comparable management system for education why would anyone switch back?
    • Here's how we arrived at that claim: Note that this is just Play Store downloads. The app is also available on the Galaxy App Store
    • Google Play states the app had more than 50 million downloads. What other metric do you suggest should be used?
    • MSN defined our generation in some ways, kind of like Snapchat and TikTok have done for future generations. I have great memories of the MSN era in the late 90s / early 2000s. In the UK everyone seemed to come home from School and go on MSN for the evening. We didn't really have mobile phones then, so other than going and knocking on your friends door it was a totally new way of interacting with people. I also loved how I could talk to people I’d met playing online games from around the world. Inviting people to NetMeeting and messing about with the shared white board and webcams was pretty fun, even if webcams only ran at a couple of fps over dial-up. All the random things you could do with MsgPlus! were really fun - I suspect that made a few people jump with /shello randomly blasting Mr Hankey out their speakers! Maybe I’m just nostalgic, however I do feel the internet and computers were more fun back then.
