Hi

I have winXP Pro- last night it all of a sudden rebooted - i forgot to turn off that option so that it just BSOD instead

Now in wont boot up

I have decided to format but only have a win98 boot floppy.

I can boot from winXP CD but will not install files as some prob

Had errors inc. unmountable boot device (have fixed this before before running chkdsk)

and something about pagesys.sys (something like that)

When can can get it to format and install and asks where to install - it says hard disk is only 4000 MB -not 17 Gb as it is!?!?!?!?

ONe thing i dont like about winXP is the way it just suddenly reboots!!

Any ideas

mmm sorry no ideas on that.....My Xp NEVER reboots. Ive got ALL the updates as well. Maybe do a Win98 reinstall and get that working fine....and make sure your XP is not corupted (if a copied CD :-) ) Pose thats all i can think of right now......

I managed to get IE6 to work after i reapired it (The option it gives u when u try to uninstall it).

Thanks for the replys guys

They're both different, so you might want to try them both.
