I've got a Hardware Firewall in my router (Stealth NAT thingo whatchamacallit!)

And I use Adaware SE Pro (updated weekly, or whenever)

Dont bother with an A/V on my machine. I can spot a virus a mile away usually ^_^

Dad's PC has Adaware SE Personal and NAV 2003, auto-updating.

Also got a laptop, nothing running on it as I use it once every month if im lucky.

For my customers, I recommend NAV '03 + Adaware SE Personal, and a hardware firewall if possible, Otherwise ZoneAlarm Free/Pro.

Of course, we all use Windows 2000 Professional with the latest updates, & Maxthon, plus my own customised .hosts file. All of which I recommend, offer and support my customers to/with.

Can't beat the solution, never see a virus, piece of spyware or popup.

On my notebook I use Symantec 9, sygate and firefox. lol

If I need to clean spyware off a system, it is Spybot, Adaware, hijack this, and MS antispyware.

I always install MS Antispyware, Firefox, AVG, Adaware, Spybot on any computer I work on.

On the desktops on my lan just an AV and SP2.

The gateway is Astaro Security linux which does SPI, NAT and has an IDS.
