Maybe Im a drone cuz I use Chose theme and iPlatinum icons (both by KoL) and sure are thousand of ppl using similar or same combination, but....... My graphic talent, imagination is = 0, my time to sitdown and start all that stuff = 0, I work 10 h, study 5 or 6 h I cook for myself, I have a dog, my perfect day should have 48h and must be ppl with similar probs so that ppl as KoL which have that talent we are thankful because my windows is not going to be plain and bored anymore.

About the MetalX I like it, but I dont like WB, if some can export it to VS I'll be happy, maybe WB is powerful or have more options, I dont care, I just like how it looks like in VS, for me WB sucks, buggy and take a lot of resources in MY system.

About the original authors, they should be glad that ppl like their work and give permissions to ppl like unsanity, of course they are free to make what ever whit it, but then there is the difference.

I havent see KoL saying no or denying permission. That say a lot about a person.

That's my opinion.

outcast is just frustrated because my "failed cause" (my position against the metalx port) was supported by the neowin mods, and now hes trolling against me, I have proof of that, he was trolling in one of my wallpapers thread

Sorry [saint], I didn't mean to personally insult you, I didn't think you would take what I said seriously... we're taking about Desktop Wallpaper :) The reason I said that, is becuase you always seem to bash people who like Mac themes, just because they are popular. I understand why you might not like trendy things, I agree somewhat, but I just wanted to poke fun at you the same way you do to the Mac people, with your "Keep it simple" movement. :p As for being supported by the neowin mods, I dont really undertand/care what you meant, it dont have or ever did have the mods support on that and I don't care if I did. Take it easy

      Qualcomm reportedly in talks to build custom video chips for TikTok parent ByteDance by Karthik Mudaliar Qualcomm is reportedly in advanced discussions to provide custom chip-design services to Chinese tech giant ByteDance, the same company behind TikTok. According to a report from Reuters, Qualcomm could be involved in designing custom silicon tailored for ByteDance's massive data-center workloads. If it goes through, the deal would make ByteDance one of Qualcomm's early anchor customers for its fastly growing custom chip-design division, For years, Qualcomm was the king of making smartphone processors and modems. The company has also been moving into the PC ecosystem and other formats such as on-device AI for Android XR headsets. However, this particular deal is about Qualcomm's custom Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs). For a platform like TikTok, ByteDance needs hardware that can help it ingest, process, and serve billions of short-form videos daily. Generalised hardware is no longer the most cost-effective and efficient route, which is why ByteDance is trying to develop custom Video Processing Units (VPUs). VPUs designed specifically for ByteDance’s algorithmic needs could drastically reduce data-center power consumption and improve encoding speeds at an unprecedented scale. The underlying tech behind these processors is actually from Qualcomm's recent acquisition of AlphaWave Semi, a high-speed connectivity specialist company. By combining AlphaWave’s high-bandwidth IP with Qualcomm’s architectural expertise, the company could begin mass production by the end of 2026, if the talks go through. All this also comes at a time when U.S.-China tech relations have dwindled. Escalating trade frictions between Washington and Beijing have severely impacted the export of high-end AI chips from U.S. firms like Nvidia, AMD, and Lam Research. Yet, the Qualcomm-ByteDance discussions show that U.S. tech companies are still actively seeking growth avenues and are open to doing business with China, where regulators still permit.       I wonder how driving laws around the world will change. No way to really tell if people are using phone. Same with smart watches i guess even now and those silly built in tablets for controlling the car instead of buttons.
