Question
ontherock
I'm using Outlook/Exchange 2000. I have this problem sending to certain email addresses that are not in my Address Book. Normally it would work fine. But lately it's been giving me an "=SMTP:email@email.com" on the To.. column when I try to send a message. Then a box of Name Suggestion would pop up.
I tried doing this: Options | Preferences | Email Options | Advanced Email Options | Uncheck Automatic Name Checking. But it still does the =SMTP and the Name Suggestion box. I also tried adding that e-mail address to my Address book but it still wouldn't do it.
I then just save my message, close all Outlook windows and restart Outlook again. It would send the message without a problem then. But it's quite a pain that I have to do that everytime the =SMTP thing comes up. Is there any other way that I can do here to fix this problem? Any settings that I should change? Thank you.
