The front end looks like that of a Modena and a Viper mixed together. Plus the doors resemble that of the viper as well. To much of a copy cat if you ask me. Plus I would have preferred the hide away headlights. And no, the Viper was not taken from the Miata ya tool. It was to resemble that of a Shelby Cobra, since Shelby was the one who designed the Viper.

did i say it was "taken from" no i said it looked like, tool. there is a reason some people call the miata a "little viper"

they looked similar

and the arched fenders on the vette is to more resemble the classic vette, and the front vent is adapted from what they learned at the track, just like the last Z06 adapted from the track

. <-------PERIOD

dream on, i think corvette has made a car that meets this times needs and still remains the old corvette properties.

it's very well done. nice car, but i wouldn't drive it here, 7.0L damn it.

I just can't believe the Auto Industry's total disregard to the Petrol Crisis globally.

We really need to cut back on consumption not increase it.

There is NOT going to be a sudden end to petrol. It just so happens that the way the system works, oil companies only prospect for 20 years in advance, and have a 10 year reserve. This means that whenever you are, petrol will always run out in 30 years - under the most pessimistic approach. What actually happens is that by then the companies will have prospected on for another 20 years, and so on. Sorry if that was a bit confusing, it's late at nigth and I've had an exhausting day.

To those who said "Ferrari wannabe": a Ferrari has got a little horse at the front and back. That's all you buy really. The name. Hence it can't be a Ferrari copy, simply because it doesn't have the name "Ferrari".

I do agree with you, and if I had that kind of money I'd buy a Ferrari. Or rather, my dream car a nice shiny brand new DB9, which will probably break down 50 miles later but I don't care, cos it's just such an awesome car...

Although I can't really see how it's a "rip of the Modena"... There's a Ferrari dealer down in South Ken that I see quite regularly so I see those quite a bit, and the only ressemblance is the colour tbh.

It looks cheap and badly made. The little "design" details on it make it look like they just got a 3 year old to draw a car they want and made it. A mess in other words. Will it go around a corner? It reminds me of the past like all american cars. I have never seen one which made me think wow that's "New", I want one.

I watched the 12 hours of Sebring. The "New" 'Vette C6R vs. Aston-Martin DB9R in GTS. The DB9R beat the 'vettes.

I'm not much of a Chevy person, but for the price you can get 2 for the price of a "cheap" Ferrari.
