Had my iBook G3 for one year now. Using the same icon set and wallpaper from the day I got it :p

Only difference now is I have panther and know a lot more about OS X then back then.

This is the best computer I have ever owned, I will never go back to the wintel world.

:ninja: Or Something :ninja:

It is just very much worth the $$ you dish out for one...I will say this is the fastest and most responsive computer I have ever used; and is definitely the fastest Mac ever made. Yes, fastest is subjective to each person, but I will say that a seven second startup time for Photoshop CS is the fastest I have ever seen.

On a related topic: When I run Halo, iPulse and Activity viewer show at the most, 50% usage of both CPU's. Would this indicate the app in not multithreaded to maximize the CPU use? And would this indicate that if it were, the game would run twice as fast (which, btw, would be a balmy 90 FPS!)? This makes me very happy, as it indicates to me that DooM 3 will run quite nicely....

Really? Takes about that on my P4 2Ghz...

:ninja: Did you time it? I used a stopwatch... :ninja:

How much memory do you have? I have used Photoshop CS on a P4 2GHz and it took a lot longer than seven seconds...? Not attempting to argue the point, simply curious how you got it to do that for you.

I've been using these BeOS one's for a while now (so the screenies are a month or so old). But generally I don't see much of my desktop (dual display) as you can see in the 2nd/3rd pics.
