LOL! one thing i always find quite amusing ... EVERYONE calls Mail ... Mail.app?! ... WHY? its Mail?! ... LOL, it bugs me like MAC as opposed 2 Mac ... (yes i know it sounds PROPER Pathetic) .. but, no-one calls iChat, iChat.app ... etc etc ... LOL! (sorry guys :p i HAD 2 say something, its killing me)

Lol, I think I and others use "Mail.app" to avoid confusion because it is a literal word, mail. Like if Safari had the name "Internet" and someone asked "help, internet keeps crashing on me" they could either be talking about the the world wide web or the application Internet. Of course it would be much clearer if people would use capital letters when needed. ;)
